The Expanse disc 1 will not open

makemkv will not open disc 1 in The Expanse season 1, disc 2 opens and rips ok.
The disc plays in a Blu-ray player.
Any suggestions?

Follow the instructions in the FAQ link in my signature to turn on debug logging, and try the rip again.

Right now, without a log of what happened, the answer is, "don't know".

Don't bother trying to do it as an attachment - it probably won't work. Just copy and paste the text from the log in a reply.

If this is an "Extras" disk, it is quite possible that the 1 hour minimum you've put on titles is making it impossible for MakeMKV to find anything to rip. What happens if you shorten the minimum to, say, 120 seconds?

Thanks for the advice, it worked out.
I got confused by the "Failed to open disc".
I have ripped more than 500 Blu-rays recently and have used 3600 seconds to find the movie as easy as possible.
I rip the movie only with the best audio quality and english subtitles, no menus or extras.
For multi episode TV series discs I will have to use e.g. 120 seconds.
I had the same error ("Failed to open disc") with the Battlestar Galactica discs, I am sure they will rip OK now.
