Error message when trying to load disc to makemkv

Newbie to Blu ray ripping. I am getting an error loading a disc. The error says Scsi error-Medium error:L EC Uncorrectable Error occurred while reading BD Pioneer BDR -XD05 3.01 at offset 52428 Help Please

Your drive says it can't read part of the disk. If you're getting the error while loading, the problem is near the hub, where the directory is stored.

You are looking for scratches, cracks, and fingerprints. Do NOT assume that a "new disk fresh from the package" doesn't have crap on it. I got one a few weeks ago that looked like someone had butter on their fingers when they packaged the disk set. And it wasn't a returned-for-replacement disk set, because it was the first release of it.

The above assumes that your drive can read other disks.
