I have noticed when I try to make a mkv from any of the Harry Potter blurays
The video is problematic with dropped frames.
Does anyone know how to fix this

Are you getting errors from the rip? The HP BD disks all ripped fine for me.
They do have a rather high bit rate that can cause issues with playback on some devices.

No the movie file rips perfectly with no errors. It's just when you play the file back the video plays back just slightly off with missed frames. I have had this issue with many WB titles

I've backed up many Warner titles and have never experienced the issue you're reporting. When ripping via MakeMKV, do you see any frame error messages listed in the lower display? Any other error messages?
