Going to have to suggest cleaning, because Pacific Rim had no errors when I ripped it.

Thanks, I tried to rip it with anyDVD HD and had the same type of issue. I have cleaned the Blu-Ray again. I can't see anything wrong with it though when I look at it. Guess, I will just have to rip the DVD instead which sucks.

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00011.m2ts' at offset '25670320128'
Error 'OS error - The I/O device reported an I/O error' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '25176305664'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:LOGICAL UNIT HAS NOT SELF-CONFIGURED YET' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00011.m2ts' at offset '25176305664'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00011.m2ts' at offset '25176305664'
These errors could be related to this... this isn't an external drive, is it?

I finally got AnyDvd HD to rip it using slow mode. I wish there was a way to slow down the blu-ray player from MakeMVK. There are a few things that I would like to see added. I'll have to make to another thread with my wish list that will never be met. :)

There are ways to slow MakeMKV down... point the output at a slow-to-write directory, either on a network or on a local drive. But that's no fun, really.... ;)

If it is an external drive, the usual problem is insufficient power to run at full speed. There are ways to address that, but yes, a "speed limit" for MakeMKV could help.
