MakeMKV rip stops/hangs/pauses/freezes/crashes at 99%/100%

Post by judderod »

Excuse the search friendly title, I thought I'd make it so others might find this in case they're having the same issue.

I'm steadily backing up my blu-ray collection, but am also accumulating a pile of a few discs that just won't rip.

Here's a screen shot of what happens. I left this one overnight - see the Elapsed time.

This is ripping only the largest video stream and HD audio stream (be it HD-DTS, LPCM, True HD etc.)

Here's a paste of the last log:

If I hit the stop button, a confirm message comes up but clicking OK does nothing. The close button does nothing. The program can only be forcably ended in task manager.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Confirmed bug in 1.8.0 - conversion to FLAC may hang at the very end :( I guess your only option for now is to save stream as is and convert to FLAC later, or wait for 1.8.1
