getting Registration Key ?
OK I admit Im new to this so forgive my ignorance....That being said i attempted to make a mkv and the pop-up said "version to old. Download the new version. I checked mt email to activate. Gave me a link but no regristration key. I tried to make mkv again and the same pop-up again. New pop-up said version to old get new one or enter regristration key. Please clairfy and help. THX and HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!

I'm mildly confused by what you wrote, but try the beta registration key.

MakeMKV will send you three emails, the last of which is the one that contains the key, I just got that popup as well with 1.7.10 on OS X after registering, with "20 days beta" still left. Input the key, and it works just fine now.
