Naruto Complete Series Blu ray
Hi all. I bought Naruto: The complete series on blu ray from Amazon. When I open the first disc in MakeMKV, there is only one video stream, which I am guessing is the play all stream (36 chapters, 39.2 GB). Shouldn't each episode show up in MakeMKV? Has anyone ripped this yet with individual episodes? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Naruto Complete Series Blu ray
Handbrake didn't work. Processed two files and then errored out on the rest of the queue. Trying MakeMKV's backup feature and see what I can do there.
It appears that MakeMKV cannot see the individual episodes. I have to use Handbrake and rip the individual .m2ts files. It is not ideal because Handbrake cannot determine the type of audio or subtitles so it shows them as unknown. It does seem to work though. I will update if it does not. Is it possible that MakeMKV will ever be able to handle discs that hide their individual episodes?

Re: Naruto Complete Series Blu ray
A lot of titles show only a complete stream of "all episodes". I'm dealing with that as I re-rip my collection. When you play the disk, there is a short title that then calls the individual titles from the main stream, but they are not laid out as separate episodes.
Funimation combines that; most of their blurays have a single title with everything, and individual episodes listed.
I'm in the process right now of using handbrake to rip the 21 files of Ranma 1/2 into 161 episodes (on 144 right now!), after spending a few hours looking at each combined track and determining when episode starts/stops with which block. I suspect Naruto is similar. Handbrake accessing the disk looks at different information than MakeMKV, so it's "vision" of what an episode contains can be very different than what MakeMKV would construct.

Another thought occurred to me - what is your minimum title length set to?
If it's short (I use 30 seconds), it will show individual episodes when they're listed in the directory. However, a lot of people use long (1800 or 30 minutes is common) settings, which MAY be longer than the individual episodes.
While MakeMKV is loading the disk, are you seeing a lot of "too short" entries in the log?
