Quick question:

If I see the following…

Does that indicate any problem with the backup, or does "Backup done" mean the backup is good regardless of any preceding messages? (In other words, does "Backup done" imply that all mentioned read errors were successfully retried?)

Hmm… after further checking, it appears the rip is good.

After doing another rip on a different drive with no reported errors, I ended up with a result that was bit-for-bit identical to the first one, so it appears the 9 reported read errors were all successfully retried in this case (though surely it could have been more explicit about it). (I also verified there was no corruption in the m2ts streams.) Indeed, when there's an uncorrected error, MakeMKV seems to indicate the exact file with the error, e.g.,
