Hi,
I am new to ripping and I have a problem with my blu-ray disc rip.
I am using the latest version of MakeMKV (v.1.10.0), Windows 10 and my DVD / blu-ray drive is the MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ141AL (laptop).
I ordered a blu-ray online and it played without any problems using VLC, but when I tried to rip it, I kept getting a "Scsi" and "OS" error.
Error 'OS error - STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '6052249600'
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:UNRECOVERED READ ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00007.m2ts' at offset '6052245504'
Someone suggested to increase the "Read retry count" to 25 and reinstalling the drivers, but that didn't help.
I tried to rip a normal DVD and it worked without any problems. Unfortunately I don't have any other blu-ray discs so I couldn't test if my disc is broken.
Please let me know if any additional information is required.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You should still wipe the disk down with a clean, damp, cotton (or microfiber) cloth, because some disks will have a "haze" of chemicals from the packaging equipment.
Given that it is a laptop drive, make sure the laptop is plugged in and charging when ripping. When the disk starts spinning at maximum speed, you can have issues with the available power when running on battery.

I just cleaned the disk and tried it again.
There are a total of 18 "titles" on the blu-ray, 17 of them (bonus clips and extras) work fine, but the main movie doesn't.
MakeMKV starts working until ~25% (Elapsed time: 13minutes) and then it stops and gives the "Scsi" and "OS" error.
It then starts working on the other titles, without any problems.
The laptop is plugged in and 100% charged.
Could it be caused by my OS? Should I do a clean install?

Rare that this would be an OS issue.
From the log, there is an error at 6052245504 that the drive (apparently) can get past with retries, then error at 6052249600 persists for too many retries. But why does it go back to 6052245504 repeatedly?
When you are ripping the disk, what does the speed display say as it approaches the area of failure? Does the failure always occur in the area of the two offsets listed?
