New BR disks - File is corrupt

I've been encountering some problems with two new BluRays I picked up at Wal-Place. Carrie (2013) and Thor 2. Problem does not appear to be related to the 1.8.9 bug (though it could be). Ripping both disks with either decrypted and encrypted video yields the same result. In both cases the affected tracks would be the movies themselves.

If you Open the disk instead of using Backup, and try saving the individual titles as MKV files, what results do you get?

Same deal when trying to save from there or setup for stream. Log is full of debug messages like so:

004004:0000 The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 2202802176, attempting to work around
tp=PrVNOP8LMbu0PI4lHjshdQ6bc1z0O4N7YY0dtBlzUvn/fRbewIZjtSUPKgmJpuv/onVbjuIL5YpAZWQJyGk1krSJC+aJBEi/U7YBbim7NqQf9L2/YAJru1bH5j5M0QhH8noNtdNf3h+blYzQFZMB7K9uB6aQ3hW/nM0h7cDBcErwfqFpoRsufg0J2EUJ0T1kGxTGFGNI8ewych/EgnWP0RZ2IKbo6hGqmxrDMPJze/WKhavbrTeYjqidptO4=
001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 0 at ,QO;UTbH#WPlP$8&Xy4H:29394574

To try to figure this out I went back to one of my older bluray disks and loaded it in. It no longer works either and I suspect the other disks are the same. I then loaded makemkv onto the windows partition of this machine (which I hardly ever use). It now also is giving me the same problem. At least I have figured out it isn't the disks. Still stumped as to what it could be now though.

Hi!

Sounds like a drive problem - dirty or failing...
