The Avatar blu-ray doesn't rip, period.

The Avatar blu-ray rips just fine. Based on your other post, it looks like you need to enter the beta code which can be found here:

I bought a rental version at a Blockbuster that was closing two weeks ago, and it ripped fine.

I have a Blu Ray that I purchased when it released and it ripped just fine. US Version.
