Read Error on "Zombie Apocalyse" Bluray

I'm real new at this so forgive me if this has been addressed. I tried to read Zombie Apocalypse, an older movie from 2014, and I keep getting the same message...Read Error.

I'm pretty sure it's not the drive. It is working fine. It IS a USB driven drive. Is this the problem? Most Bluray drives nowadays are USB, so I wouldn't think that would be the problem. Almost impossible to find an internal Bluray drive any more. I did receive an error on the drive when trying to play a Bluray disc with Video Lan, and it said I had to update the AACS library. I did so and now it works fine. Can this be the problem?
