Dune BD Backup Error

I have a Pioneer BDR-XD05 and tried to back up my Dune (2021) disc. I received this error:

Error 'OS error - This device does not exist' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/01218.m2ts' at offset '9972215808'
Failed to save title /BDMV/STREAM/01218.m2ts to file G:/Video/backup/Dune/BDMV/STREAM/01218.m2ts

I'm not exactly sure what this particular segment is, but is there a way to prevent this from happening again? I have plenty of disc space, so that's not the problem.

It looks like the drive may be struggling to read that disc, ran out of power and disappeared for a moment, enough for MakeMKV to throw that error.

Give the disc a good cleaning before attempting to rip it again.
