While trying to backup a blu-ray on a newly purchased drive, I received the following error log. Can anyone help me out?

DASPI kernel isn't going to do anything.

You can either wait till that issue has been overcome, or get a drive that isn't gimped by design.

Thanks for the help!! I have quite a few blu-ray's and was hoping to copy them on to my NAS and then watch them from my mac mini. I was advised to buy my blu-ray drive from a friend; clearly he was misinformed. Could you tell me what drives I can buy to copy my blu-ray collection on to my NAS? Just because a drive is not on that list, does not mean it's going to be a safe purchase.
