First post on this forum though I have been using MakeMKV for a while. Just recently started getting discs that appear to give the software a real issue. I'm currently trying to rip BlacKkKlansman using an ASUS BW-16D1HT BD-ROM drive. Firmware is LibreDrive mode friendly.
When I attempt to read the disc the software just hangs. The top status bar reads "Processing BD+ code" while the bottom status bar reads "Opening Blu-ray disc" Where "Remaining time" just counts up. The drive access light has stopped showing activity and I have to kill the software through task manager in order to close MakeMKV. Further the file "blues.jar" remains actively open after MakeMKV is closed. Rather than tracking down a way to force close that I just do a system reboot which resolves it.
So I don't have a dump file to provide as after 23 minutes the disc has not reached a pass/fail state. I don't think its going to. It appears to just be spinning its wheels.
I was hoping someone might have some direction as to what path I might take to troubleshoot the issue, or if its just something that is known of already.
