This question is NOT about "titleNN.mkv" problems.
Yes, I tried to search this but only find questions about "title.mkv overwriting" or "titleNN.mkv" issues.
Yes, I know I can name them by hand, but it would be way easier if MakeMKV did it automatically.
For HD DVD discs, the title names are all unique (and descriptive) and used as the output filename.
Most Blu-ray discs show similar descriptive information about each title but the output filenames just use the generic "titleNN' format.

Outtakes Reel_t03.mkv Title Outtakes Reel, 165.0 MB

Title03.mkv Title Looper - 1 Chapter(s). 11.9 MB (Dutch AGE ALL)

How to name Blu-ray output files based on Description field?
Re: How to name Blu-ray output files based on Description fi
Automatic naming based on meta data.... That's something you probably need to propose to Mike as a new feature.
There is some automatic naming available at the disk level, if you enable it, but not all disks have meta data for all files, so it has a tendency to fall down if you rely on it. Maybe my experience is biased by the type of titles I buy, but "most" implies "more than half" have the meta data you want to use; I'd classify it as "many", as in "less than half".
I assume you already know about how to change the meta and file names prior to ripping using expert mode.

I would love to see this also. Even using the Disc Label for the filenames would be great.
Thanks!
Thanks!
