Case 39 blu-ray

Get the following errors when ripping 'Case 39'
Saving 1 titles into directory /Users/***/Movies/Case_39
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:READ RETRIES EXHAUSTED' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00015.m2ts' at offset '8796303360'
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:NO SEEK COMPLETE' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00015.m2ts' at offset '8796567552'
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:READ RETRIES EXHAUSTED' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00015.m2ts' at offset '8796567552'
Failed to save title 0 to file /Users/***/Movies/Case_39/t00_Case_39.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed

Your drive is unable to read the disc with a high enough accuracy to obtain a 1:1 copy. There is no copy protection that can cause this. There are only two possible causes:

1. The disc is dirty, damaged or poorly manufactured.
2. Your drive is failing.

Number 1 is more likely, return the disc for a new one.

You're welcome.

Don't be surprised if you get a few discs that are all damaged. If the cause of the fault is a poor pressing then entire batches can be damaged. I had to return Sherlock Holmes about 5 times before I got one that read correctly.

I bet the 'C' and 'V' keys on your keyboard are pretty worn :lol:
