Makemkv gets to the end of the ripping process then throws a few errors and says it cant save the title. I thought maybee it was a bad disc. returned it and got another disc same issue.

I have run into this a few times now on different movies. Not sure what the problem is. Log:

I have run into this a few times now on different movies.

Did all of these problematic results occur while using MakeMKV v.1.62 or did some/any occur while using earlier versions?

All occured on older versions. ELG occured on the new version and the older version as well.

Then I'd speculate that either your drive is at fault or your problematic discs are either physically damaged or dirty. I say this because I had no trouble using makeMKV, a year ago, to successfully make a movie-only .MKV...

Its not my drive. I have already tried all problematic movies on different drives with the same result. And in this case it is not the disc as I highly doubt I got 2 bad brand new discs in a row. I have transferred most of my bluray collection some 30+ discs to mkv's already mostly with no problems. There are just a couple discs that all exhibit the same behavior regardless of the drive that is being used. And in this case I had the opportunity to take the brand new disc back and swap it out with another new disc and still have the same result.

Then I guess we'll just have to wait and see what "mike admin" may be able to discern from your Debug log...

BTW - What are the few other problematic titles - and what Region are your original, commercial Blu-ray discs?

all region 1. Rambo and I think terminator 2 all the only ones i can remember off the top of my head.

A blu-ray disc mastering error seen more often lately. Workaround will be added in a next version.
