1.14.0 gets stuck during “analyzing seamless segments” on blu-ray of “The Spy Who Dumped Me”

Drive constantly seeks while making a loud chatter and has to be aborted.

1.12.2 works fine with the same disc.

Same problem with "The Walking Dead Season 8 Disc 2".

- During the first try is the first title is saved and MakeMKV stuck in analyzing segements for the second title, abort processing and MakeMKV
- Clear the Output folder and Restart MakeMKV with *TESTDUMP*, MSG comes that the Dump mode is enabled
- The first file (done during first try) now stucks during analyzing, abort processing and after a while MakeMKV terminates with an error.
- No Dump file is written.

During stuck in analyzing segments the drive seeks and seeks, read rate goes up and down, but the source file is not changed.

Please confirm - it stucks on “analyzing seamless segments” even in testdump mode???

Yes, it stucks now (with *TESTDUMP * on) on the first file in analyzing mode. The first file was processed before and MakeMKV stucks on the second title during analyzing before I switched to the *TESTDUMP* mode.

Very strange
I did a backup with 1.12.2 and later processed it with 1.14.1 without stuck trouble during analyzing. This is one of the bad errors which are not clear reproducable. The logic works, but due to some strange circumstances it failes sometimes. Storage overlay, bad pointer or whatever ....

We're having the same problem over in the Incredibles 2 thread for the UHD disc. Though for that one, I can't get 1.12.3 to read it either.

I had to go back to v.1.12.3 for the Incredibles 2 Blu-ray to rip. But Christopher Robins worked with no problem on v.1.14.0.

This appears to be a "rape the drive" bug. The program tries to read two files from the disc at the same time. In theory, you should be able to wait it over. It is random, and you may be lucky to avoid this condition. Fix is coming...

Eighth Grade has this problem in 1.14.1. I downgraded to 1.12.3 and it went away.

Hopefully this "Rape The Drive" bug has been resolved.

Incredibles 2 and Alpha (Blu-ray) were both getting stuck for me. Upgrading to 1.14.1 fixed the issue. Thanks!!!
