Hey all,
I'm trying to rip Star Wars Rebels season 1, but I'm running into issues. t01 on disc 1, and t03 and t07 on disc 2 are failing to rip. There's no message; I just get:
Failed to save title X to file {location}
And then, after completion, "Copy Complete. X titles saved, 1/2 failed."
Any ideas? Anyone have this issue and find a resolution?

Re: Star Wars Rebels S1 Blu-Ray - No error message, just fai
That's very odd, if a track/playlist fails to rip and is flagged as failed at completion of the conversion process, MakeMKV will provide a description for the reason of the failure in the log field during the conversion process - that's always been my experience. You're sure nothing was displayed in the log field with some kind of error message (like the ones described here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15055)?

100%. I ran it a few times because I, too, found it very odd. Is there an additional location I can look to for information as to what's going on?yorgo wrote:That's very odd, if a track/playlist fails to rip and is flagged as failed at completion of the conversion process, MakeMKV will provide a description for the reason of the failure in the log field during the conversion process - that's always been my experience. Alright, toggled some settings and now get this:

Re: Star Wars Rebels S1 Blu-Ray - DEBUG: Code 0
I tried backing it up and then ripping from the backup, but the same error showed up. So I now have an mt2s file on my hard drive of the episode, but I can't figure out how to get it into an mkv through MakeMKV; I'd have to convert using Handbrake.
Any thoughts?

Alright, I stapled together a solution by creating a backup, pulling the chapter info from the disc while watching it, and then using MKVtoolnix to convert and add in chapters. I haven't run this yet, but I'm hopeful. I'd still like to know what caused the initial error, though, mostly for my own education!
-Edit2-
It worked (for the first episode, anyway). However, the size shrank by about .2GB, so I'm not sure what happened there (I kept every item from the original selected, so it's not because of a dropped audio/subtitle).

I'd suggest reading and following the recommendations at this link: /faq/item/8, and send Mike an email at support@makemkv.com.
