I found that folder and I downloaded that "dsall.svq" I put it in the folder but it still doesn't work. Do I replace the "00000029.svq" file?

The last thing I would suggest is to delete all of the svq's except for the dsqall and restart makemkv. It should download the necessary updated svq's it needs.

Otherwise I am at a loss and am going to have to wait for a mac guy or Mike to come on and help.

Running OS X 10.6.8
MakeMKV 1.7.3

I tried all of the suggestions with the newest svg after deleting previous. Still does not work.

Also not working for me. WinXP Pro x64 - MakeMKV version 1.7.3 x64 edition

I've tried deleting the old svq's and manually downloading the single file. Nothing works.

I email the dump file.

Thanks

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I have all the SVQ's in the correct folder, plus I downloaded the new dsall.svq and placed that in the same folder (see attachment). I am still getting the FUT error (see attachment).

So once you find these files what do you do with it? When I began the back up all the svq files are placed on my desktop. So what do I do with them next? (I'm using a mac running lion)

I am having the same problem too. Just sent in a dump file via email.
I have Mac OSX 10.6.8, MakeMKV 1.7.3

I downloaded the dsall.sqv file and placed in my data directory.

MakeMKV tries to use a generic SQV instead of a specific one.

Hey, can you tell me how you found the data directory? Specifics please, step by step what you did. I seem to be a total moron about this and haven't been able to figure it out.

(FredT) If you didn't change the default path preference, open the Mac OS Terminal program. Type: cd /Users/<your login name>/.MakeMKV or ~/.MakeMKV

This directory is preceded by a period which in *nix is a "hidden directory". That is why when you open your home folder in the Finder it's not appearing but it's really there. (Mac OS Finder GUI and classic shell mash-up ;-) )

Here you will see all the SVQ files that MKV has downloaded and any BD+ dump files it creates if enabled to do so in prefs.

OK, now I get it. Thanks!

So, it seems that this dsall.svq file does not solve the problem with The Descendants, at least on Mac with Snow Leopard. Blackdragon24 said it worked for him, but he's running Windows.

I tried creating a MKV using the Canadian Blu-Ray of the movie with the latest SVQ and it clearly doesn't work. MakeMKV (1.7.3) keep using generic SVQ on both Windows 7 and OS X Lion. Can the BD+ code be different on that version?

Running OS X 10.6.8
MakeMKV 1.7.4

1.7.4 has not fixed the issues.

Same result:
/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 44316672, attempting to work around

Working with a full local back up, but results look the same.

However, MakeMKV is not using the 0000002.svq through 00000029.svq files nor is it generating them. Could be because I am working with a decrypted backup

Updated to 1.7.4 and latest SVQ downloaded (for a total of 27)... Everything seem fine! I will report at the end of the rip.

Edit: MKV created without problem. :)

The SVQ files are needed for decryption, not MKV creation. In your case the decryption was already done (albeit in an unsuccessful way, it seems).

Throw your backup away and make a new one.

Thanks. That's what I suspected. I think I'll hold off on the Descendants until it looks like the issue has been fixed.
