I get this:

Title information
Name: Midway
Source file name: 00741.mpls
Duration: 2:18:24
Chapters count: 16
Size: 36.3 GB
Segment count: 10
Segment map: 507,501,509,502,504,510,508,506,503,505
File name: Midway_t157.mkv

I need to go to this to see File name: Midway_t168.mkv

Title information
Name: Midway
Source file name: 00799.mpls
Duration: 2:18:24
Chapters count: 16
Size: 36.3 GB
Segment count: 10
Segment map: 508,506,510,507,501,504,503,502,509,505
File name: Midway_t168.mkv

Pretty sure that has to do with the limits I impose on file size...

00741.mpls is not available on RedBox Midway UHD. This is for standard 1080P only, not Ultra High definition.

Hmmm weird, and yeah there's a huge list.
Thinking... is it the correct title? Redbox also has Dauntless: The Battle Of Midway, although it is DVD-only where I am. Don't know about nationally.

It's Midway in 4K. This other thread https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 12&t=21505 says another program found #504 to be the correct playlist, this disc does have that one so I'm trying it. Also interestingly all my playlists have 7 numbers for segment map rather than 10.
Playlist 00504.mpls is avaliable on RedBox Midway UHD disc. Backup screened by BDInfo v0.7.5.5.

I got the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital combo pack on release day at Best Buy. According to ProcMon 00539.mpls is the correct playlist.

Why doesn't Java find the correct title? Shouldn't it?

It's not infallible. It can be improved.

I'm still trying to rip Midway, retail BD copy from Walmart. Tried 00539, put it on Plex and it buffers and closes off, either 5 min into the feature, 30 min in, or 3/4 of the way through the entire feature. I've redone the process 4 - 5 times and am at my wits' end! :|

Any help on a Walmart retail BD?

This one also worked for me (haven't played it all the way yet). The default title that MakeMKV picked was 00724.mpls and was not correct.

Can anyone verify that 00741.mpls (Midway_t168.mkv) is the correct playlist for the Redbox Blu-ray version?

741 also appears to be correct for Netflix version. Did a preview (first few min and last few) and all looks correct.

Most of the fake playlists will have the correct first and last video sections. Lionsgate likes to switch short video sections in two or three places in the middle of the picture. Usually the rental disks do use the same playlist but you need to test the entire movie to verify.
