Weird...both my LG's now hang which are internal drives but my external Asus reads just as quick as ever.

I am still having the problem. It does not appear to be fixed. I re-downloaded the latest version of Make MKV and that didn't solve the problem either. Are you still working on the bug?

First post updated, please post the new debug code. This should be fixed by tomorrow, one way or another. Worst case - a few days.

Another update.
My 2 internal LG's won't read DVD's anymore or they are just stuck.
My Asus external drive works no problem.

You have to close and restart MakeMKV. Also, you might need to power cycle LG drives, which means turning off and then on the computer. The code should be 03DF/02/XXXXXX

I am having the same issue as before where it will take a very long time to try and open the disk and give Timeout Errors. This time it is around there is a new error DEBUG: Code 03DF/02. Last time i tried this, it took over 9hrs to get through all of those errors and finally create a dump file, so I don't have that yet.

One thing I have noticed is that it takes a long time to do the initial scan of the optical drives before you can do anything. around 10 minutes have elapsed on the most recent start of MakeMKV and it is still scanning. It just says

Tried with a UHD that has worked previously. I'm using an LG BH16NS55 (fw 1.02) connected with a Unitek SATA 6G / USB 3.0 cable.

Also tried the same UHD with another LG BH16NS55 (fw 1.02). This is my main drive that I have used for most of my UHD/BD backups. It is in a Lite-on enclosure (model eHBU212). The old Liteon drive was on it's last legs so I switched it out for the LG drive.

im getting this issue on the pink panther disc and that isnt even a blu ray. i got the same error you guys get 03DF/02/76A0C3CD522E


i dont know how to fix this and i would like to add this movie to my digital library and i have the full version of the software!

Has anyone gotten this software to work on the older versions?
