Neither of the two X Flies movies (yeah, I know), nor Skyfall, or Live, Die, Repeat will backup successfully from BluRays (brand new).
I think they may be BluRay "plus" discs, whatever that means, as I get a message "your BluRay player needs upgrading" when I try and play back. No problems, backup the discs up per se, just playing back the results.
Using MakeMKV version 1.8.14 on Windows 8.1 intel i5 PC and trying to play back via Cyberlink PowerDVD Pro version 14.
Haven't tried Windows Media Player or any other playback software, but PowerDVD seems to be able to play back, all be it intermittently, so I'm guessing the fault is with MakeMKV?
Also, could someone please give me a step-by-step "how to" on backing up DVDs to hard disc?
Might be me (I'm new at this) or the software, I don't know.

I had no problem with Skyfall, and I don't have those other movies.
Perhaps enabling the debugging option and posting the log will help us to figure out why it's not working.
MakeMKV does not back up DVDs, as it will only make MKV files of the content from DVD.
