Region unlock blueray player?

Post by skyline0964 »

Im trying to play a blueray movie with my BD player and it says incorrect region. I'm hoping there is workaround for my specific player. Im hoping to flash the firmware to unlock it? my drive details are in the pic. Thanks for looking at my thread! Any help would be high appreciated. :D

There's no images. Please don't try to attach them here. Either host them elsewhere and use the insert image button to add the url or just type or copy/paste the text.

Are you talking about an actual blu-ray player or a PC optical drive? I assume the latter as that is what MakeMKV is used with. There is no firmware that makes an optical drive region free. MakeMKV does not care about region coding and ignores/removes it when reading discs.
Cheers :D
