Hi everyone,
I'm running into issues with Blu-rays that I've burned with ImgBurn.
The issue I am experiencing is that the movie displays with a larger black bar than usual at the bottom of the screen. Additionally, the image loses its original color and looks washed out, with greenish and yellowish tones.
Here are the test I have perfomanced:
Created a BD Folder structure from a MKV using TSMUXER
Created an ISO file from a MKV using TSMUXER.
Created a BD Folder structure from a MKV using DVDFAB BD Creator.
Created an ISO file from a MKV using DVDFAB BD Creator.
In all of these tests, if I play the files on my PC using VLC, the movie plays without any issues. However, when I burn it to a disc and play it on an Xbox or another standalone player, I encounter these problems.
I would also like to add that when I back up an original Blu-ray using MakeMKV with its folder structure on my PC and then burn it to a BD-RE disc, I do not encounter these issues. The movie plays just like the original, including the menus.
Does anybody have any ideas what the issue could be? Is it likely to be a DVDFab creating problem or a ImgBurn burning Problem?
BD doesn't play on standalone player. Works on PC. Burned with IMGBURN

We don't really burn discs here. As you said, the MakeMKV folder backup method works fine. There's no issue relating to MakeMKV. For your DVDFab and Imgburn issues, I suggest you ask your questions on their forums.joseluko wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2026 9:49 pmHi everyone,
