File tree options

Post by Mike1200r »

Been using this program for a few months and it has been 100% perfect, however i am having a problem with a blu ray (supernatural disc1). When looking at the file structure tree i can see all the various files etc and their sizes, i can select what to decrypt etc but the first file at 37gb is the complete 6 episodes in one 4 hour file. The 4 files at 6.3gb are all the same episode but with different commentary obviously part of the special features part of the disc. So how do i split the first file into 6 parts or is it a case that this is one of those discs that cannot be ripped.
Cheers

mkvtoolnix can copy the file by chapters (the usual way to break them up). Also, if you use a tool like handbrake to shrink the files, you can tell it that "episode 1 contains cluster 1 through 5" (example), and have it extract that episode.

I have been doing this a LOT over the past couple of months. I use the command line version of handbrake, because I'm processing several hundred disks.
