Device Timeout errors

Hi, I received some blurays for Christmas and I have been trying to use MakeMKV, but I am running to an error when trying open a disc:

Error 'OS error - {Device Timeout} The specified I/O operation on hs was not completed before the time-out period expired'

I have tried to look through the forums stickied theads for this error but I haven't been able to find out what the issue is. I am using version 1.18.2 of MakeMKV.

If your optical drive is powered by USB, make sure it is plugged into high powered USB ports and if there are two plugs, make sure both are plugged into high powered ports.
