Disc uses newer version of AACS Tom and Jerry The golden Era Anthology Disc 4
Disc uses newer version of AACS Tom and Jerry The golden Era Anthology Disc 4
Having issues with "This disc uses newer version of AACS protection." error on Tom and Jerry The Golden Era Anthology 1940-1958 Disc 4. First three discs worked fine. I will be trying the 5th later today, as well as the extras disc.

You should email those dumps to svq@makemkv.com so a key can be created for MakeMKV's built in hashed key mechanism. A few days after emailing the dump, try the disc again and if a key is available, MakeMKV will download it automatically in the background.
There is a separate second decryption mechanism that MakeMKV supports, the public KeyDB. To contribute to the public KeyDB, use the template and follow the instructions in the first post in the Public KeyDB Disc Submissions thread. Instructions for downloading the keyDB and using with MakeMKV are also in that thread.

I having the same problem with the entire set of 5 discs. Disc 6 with the specials recorded like a dream. Maybe we need newer Blueray drives or something?

I did send a copy to SVQ but i am not supposed to send one to Public key DB as I'm on a Poineer drive. Disc 5 worked too FYI.

I switched to Handbrake and it rips my discs fine (so far). I popped in Disc 4 to check for you and it seems to work perfectly as well. Maybe Switch to Handbrake for that one disc. If it STILL doesn't work, I think you'll need a new disc 4.
You have to put KEYDB.cfg into ~/.config/aacs/ for Handbrake to work.
