Back to the Future 3 rip fail

New to backing up my movies.
I have the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary collection. First two movies (and others I've ripped) ripped no problem. Part III fails every time. I'm using a Beelink S13 mini PC with Windows 11. Some Chinese-made (I'm sure junk) external Blu-ray player (I don't own and won't be ripping any 4k or UHD stuff). Appreciate any help. Here's the log:

What did you clean the disc with? dish soap never works for me I suppose it depends what dish soap you have. What works for me is glasses cleaner
(spec glasses)

Literally just a soft cloth. I didn't spray it with anything. All the disc had on it was my own fingerprints (which are definitely on other discs I've ripped). I can try some kind of glass cleaner and see.

I also just realized last night that my external drive has a 5V power input in the back. I plugged that in to a non-fast charging power block. If external power might be cause of the issue. I'll try ripping it again later tonight after having that plugged in and using some glass cleaner on the disc.

I am having the same issue. I am getting hash error on a libredrive LG and on another drive (older asus) I get a read error that the log link tells me I am in denial about my disk being bad. Works fine in my Panasonic player. I cleaned it with a microfiber and some cleaning solution this am and will give it another go. My edition comes with the UHDs too and the UHD of this film ripped fine btw so I might just have to do handbrake encode shenanigans and live with that if I can't get it to work today.

Cleaned with a microfiber cloth and some glass cleaner. Have the drive plugged into external power. Still fails about a third of the way through. Same errors.

Definitely not a good way to clean discs, get the disc nice and wet with the cleaning solution, use two microfiber cloths, one to use wet with cleaning solution and the second one to dry it off and buff away. I have had some problem discs that only ripped after a few times of cleaning.

Is it always failing at the same point? or is it random?

I've tried ripping it about 6 times. I'm not sure about each time, but the last two times showed the same offset number. I don't know if that means it's the same location or not.
I will note the disc appears spotless (after cleaning it) and plays totally fine in an actual Blu-ray player.

Also, just ran into a similar issue with Deadpool. Trying it a second time now.
UPDATE: wiped off the Deadpool disc and ripped fine.
