Post by superuseful »

good evening,

failed to make backup of Lawrence of Arabia remaster edition.

problem seems unrelated to viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8410&p=36138&hilit=of+arabia#p36138

MakeMKV v1.18.1 win(x64-release)

HL-DT-ST_BD-RE__WH14NS40_1.03_211403261105_K91E9M82036

i have the latest KEYDB.cfg file in <user>/.MakeMKV folder, from http://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/

debug log file attached

please let me know if this is incorrect way to add a "failure to rip" report :)

Code: Select all

005076:0000 Hash check failed for file 00001.m2ts at offset 35055790080, file is corrupt.
Errors like that indicate that the optical drive was unable to correctly read a spot on the disc. The general advice is to gently clean the disc (even if it looks flawless or is brand new) and try again.

I like to clean discs with plenty of warm water and liquid dish soap.

In the future, you can just copy & paste your log into a post on the forum. No need for a separate file.
