Having issue with ripping a new Japanese concert blu-ray disc with aacs ver 82

Post by Flaming_Mesh »

Hi guys, apologize if I'm not doing or asking in the right place.

I have a license for MakeMKV and has updated to the latest version.
Trying to rip a Japanese concert Blu-ray disc so I can just watch the video file on my PC, never had an issue till now. Unable to decrypt the AACs ver 82.
The m2ts file is not playable by VLC.
Search through a few posts about not able to rip disc with AACs v82, still not sure how to proceed, sorry.😅

Do I post the dumpfile first?
I tried FindVUK, and KeyDB_Helper, tried also installing DVDFab as well, but the message came when running the Find VUK just made me confused.
Asking me to install a wininternal's component...

I kinda try to follow this post
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=37570

but did not get far, where can I find the most updated KEYDB.cfg?

Thanks for any tips or advice.

You should email the dump file to svq@makemkv.com.

You can also post it here and some of us may be able to help.

You can get the latest KeyDB file from: http://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/
Cheers :D

Additionally, downloading my tool might help:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16883&p=166510#p166510

If you follow all the instructions, it shows you where someone posted a device key for MKBv82 and if you add it to your keydb.cfg file, then you should be able to decrypt your discs. It can also help you keep the keydb.cfg synced and copied to your MakeMKV data directory for you.
