I have used MakeMKV to rip, around 100 Blu Ray / UHD movies, but it suddenly stopped working, giving me the following error (Note I used the makemkvcon cli version as I am ripping these on a headless server).
I am running the following command: makemkvcon -r info disc:0
Which outputs:

What I gather from this is that it is recognizing the drive, but the disc is not able to be opened for some reason. This error comes up instantly so I am assuming that it is not even trying to read the disc. I have tried multiple different blu rays and none are able to get past this error. The Blu Ray drive is an LG drive and was purchased used, so it is very possible it could be dead.

Re: Help with Error
What happens if you power cycle the drive? LG drives occasionally get confused and need to be rebooted.
