Hello,
I am pretty new to this, but I want to burn a blu ray disk that is region B using the backup system on MakeMKV.
The problem is, doing the backup doesn't remove the region lock of my original disk region A, but if I just rip the content I will have no menus which is something I am not looking forward to.
Then if there was any way to mess with the folder's to remove it, or use an external software that can do this, is it possible to then create an ISO and burn a new CD?
I am familiar with Imgburn for the ISO making process, but not really a solution to keep the menus and remove the region lock for the new cd.

Re: Make Blu Ray using Backup - Removing Region Lock
That's not the intended use of backups on MakeMKV. You can remove the region lock, but it won't re-impose one for a different region. That would be part of your writing software.

Does that mean that it is possible to remove the region lock and turn it region free? if so, what writting software are you talking about?
Re: Make Blu Ray using Backup - Removing Region Lock
I'm surprised that your player would obey such a code reading from a BD-R. Use DVDFab as it will either remove it or set it. I don't know how to manually change it or if it is strictly handle by the device.
