Re: RIO Fails backup
I'm not really sure how the SVQ thing works, but I was able to get this to work for me by first deselecting the Decrypt option in the backup. Do a full disk backup, then move the DCOPY and other extra folders out of the MKV directory. Reopen the MKV directory with MakeMKV and choose Backup again with the Decrypt option selected. Then I was able to use handbrake on the decrypted MKV directory. Took a bit of experimenting, but I was able to make it work with out the SVQ thing, whatever that is?

For whatever reasons MakeMKV failed to save files in a folder that you've selected. Please check the folder name, disc size and permissions.
Re: RIO Fails backup
I have the same problem as otter123. Changing drives, folders, and file names have no effect. Ryanide may have hit the nail on the head with the DCOPY folder, it always fails at "/DCOPY/Rio_EN20_NoSubs_Theatrical_PD_NAS_4502818_1155205.dc". Using v1.6.14 64 bit and it is loading the 00000018.sqv file.

Re: RIO Fails backup
Interesting. What happens if you try to copy this file manually?
Re: RIO Fails backup
I am having problems with Rio too. I am using version 1.6.15. I tried getting the file dsall.svq and put in in the /users/me/.MakeMKV folder and it still fails during backup. The only thing about svq I see during this is:
Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00003.svq
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks.

Re: RIO Fails backup
@kcsims
Try it again and submit a log...
If, in fact , that is the ONLY message you see regarding BD+, then your setup has PROPERLY processed the BD+ - and your failure problem has nothing to do with BD+.The only thing about svq I see during this is:
Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00003.svq
Try it again and submit a log...

Re: RIO Fails backup
Rio backed up no problem for me. Put in disc. Backed up main feature. Converted in handbrake. Plays fine.
Re: RIO Fails backup
I just uninstalled and reinstalled....same thing.
Re: RIO Fails backup
Did you flag in the config, I think it's named something like "Check on internet for update" or "Log on internet for SVQ update" available with 1.6.14 ?
I wasn't able to decrypt it with this unflagged.
I hope this could help.

Re: RIO Fails backup
Yup, had it checked, still same thing. I ended up having to just copy the entire disc to my hard drive, delete the BD+ folder, repack it to an ISO, mount the ISO with daemon tools, and then use makemkv to make a .m2ts file for me.....

Re: RIO Fails backup
You sound surprised. Yeah, worked fine for Rio and the new X-men. Only problem I have with Xmen and a few others is the forced subtitles don't work for m2ts files. Know of any fix?mike admin wrote:And it worked???kcsims wrote:Yup, had it checked, still same thing.
