Shawshank not being copied right.

I need some help from you expert folks.

I've backed up several of my blu-rays and they've all gone great till now. The Shawshank Redemption is just not working.

I've tried 2 different disks that play in multiple players.

There is no error generated, Makemkv seems to copy them fine (the disk scans, I can choose the main file, then the 'rip' process proceeds as normal) but when you go to watch the film, it is an odd digitized black and white mess

What happens if you play the .mkv file with VLC?

How big is the MKV file? with just such colors I wouldn't expect it to be more than 1GB, but for sure not the 10+GB a movie ripped from a BluRay would have.

yeah its a valid question maybe you are using a player for the blind and it makes it ultra high contrast for you seems good if that's the case
