I've been using MakeMKV for some time now, ripping DVDs of various genres. My latest project is converting the Dragon Ball Z season sets. Up until Season 8, I had no problems whatsoever; each disc had a "complex multiplex" (which is the main title, with 2 angles) and a second title (the "marathon mode"). I am currently using MakeMKV v1.8.11 for Windows (64-bit).

When I got to Season 8, instead of the expected complex multiplex, I got the following messages in the log, with debug mode turned on:

Title 11 is the title I wish to save; Title 12 is the second (marathon) title. So what gives? The discs are in perfect physical condition, so that couldn't be the problem.

"Perfect condition" does not preclude errors in the disks. Sometimes, they're mastered poorly.

The debug messages indicate that MakeMKV is attempting some work-arounds to figure out the disk structure, and they aren't working. The additional information from the log plus the information files from the disk will help Mike come up with a fix.

Problem persists in 1.8.12. I will send Mike the relevant information. Thanks.
