Hello there,

I am ripping up my BD/DVD collection for viewing on my media player and for backup.

I have encountered an issue with South Park season 15 disk 2 (DVD) whereby episode 4 is not detected by MakeMKV, whereas all other episodes (1,2,3,5) are detected and have ripped without any issue.

I use AnyDVD and tried various options, including disabling AnyDVD - all attempts to rip the elusive episode 4 have failed. Other software does detect and rip this episode (with or without AnyDVD) so I believe there might be an issue with MakeMKV, possibly caused by mastering and/or structural issues.

Hopefully someone can assist

Specifically this is the PAL region 4 release of South Park season 15 (DVD 9297).

UPDATE: I have installed previous versions of MakeMKV and attempted to rip this episode to no avail. Same result as previous attempts - the episode is not detected and therefore not listed.

I have exactly the same problem for the EU R2 release. Same season, same disc, same episode ("The Last of the Meheecans"). Can I submit log files to help fix the problem?

Alternatively, which other ripper handles this disc correctly?

EDIT: I have now submitted the requested files to the support email-address.

Can confirm problem still exists in latest version of MakeMKV 1.10.6

Same problem here with MakeMKV 1.16.3.
