Criminal Minds Errors

I have successfully converted my library of around 200 DVDs and Blu-rays to mkv files using MakeMKV without issue. That is, until I purchased a new DVD box set of Criminal Minds Seasons 1-8 from an eBay vendor.
The quality of the discs is subpar for what one would expect from a studio like Paramount. The discs seem overly pliable compared to other DVDs. There are no visible scratches or obvious problems, but of the 137 episodes, 7 failed to save.
This box set is hit or miss:
Season 1 - no errors
Season 2 - failed to save D1 E1, D4 E12, and D6 E23
Season 3 - no errors
Season 4 - failed to save D7 E25
Season 5 - no errors
Season 6 - failed to save D2 E7, D2 E8, and D3 E11 (log attached)
Hopefully someone has some tricks or hints to try.
