Are you opening ISO files? What program did you use to make them? Are they encrypted?

ISO Files? No, i'm just trying to convert my DVD collection to MKV files. None of the DVDs are particularly recent, the newest is over two years old.

I don't know if there is any encryption on each disc. I had thought that MakeMKV would remove encryption were it present.

It should. But the single log you've posted shows that MakeMKV was unable to find a CSS key, yet the log has no messages about mismatched region. Something is very wrong with your discs or drive.

It would appear to have been the hardware, unfortunately. I have managed to sneak a copy of MakeMKV onto another machine in the studio, and it is tearing through the same discs without any errors whatsoever.
