Hotel Transylvania at Redbox

Went and ripped a bunch of other stuff today, but this disk was causing me all sorts of problems detecting stuff on it. The disk played just fine in the player and on the PC, but it took a very long time to get to the "detected videos" area. Most disks are less than a minute. This was at least 13 minutes.

I checked the bottom of the disk....brand new.

Discussion of ripping of disks you don't own isn't allowed here.

You can buy movies from Redbox. He didn't say that he rented anything.

See, now you can help him.

If you chose to go with the exception (finding out there is a "buy" option takes some searching on the redbox website) and assume that a disk obtained from a primarily rental operation is a purchased disk, then yes, it is possible to make suggestions, like "turn on debugging and post your log from the rip attempt".

In any case, the request to this point has little to work with except the name of a movie.

@vultureman (I'm presuming you're dealing with purchased, commercial DVDs)

After the 13 minutes, did you obtain a successful rip? If so, there's nothing to post about here...
