I created a single MKV using 1.71 of MakeMKV- from the GL DVD, it made a perfect copy but the chapters don't work on my Oppo 93. I converted the same BR using handbrake (which is slower and less intuitive) and the chapters work fine on my BR player.

I honestly am not sure what you are asking. I'll be happy to check whatever settings in MKV you can lead me to.

All I can tell you is that when I convert with handbrake, I can use the >>| and |<< buttons on the remote and the single mkv file lets me skip through chapters. If I convert with makemkv I get a single MKV and the >>| button doesn't do anything.

I'd be thrilled if you could tell me what settings to change. I have everythin on makemkv currently set for the defaults as I couldn't see anything that I thought would help it make the chapters function any differently.

I keep looking over my settings in MakeMKV and I don't see a place to select a title that has the entire movie vs. chapters.

I put the disc in and click on the disc to hard drive (BTW - I've tested on a few more DVDs and they don't have chapters with the MKV afterwards that my BR player can find).

I look in options and I see no place to tell it to keep the chapters.

What are you playing back to? I have an Oppo BR player - seen the same thing on the Sony's. Can you tell me what player you can't play back to? Someone posted that the Oppos are a known issue, not sure if they know the Sony's are a known issue as well.
