BT - This Binary Universe - errors

It seems to rip, but MakeMKV reported errors (see below) and it took a LOOOOOOONG time to rip. I think it reported 75min at one point, then hours at another - I left it overnight and came back to find it finished. This, for once, doe NOT appear to be a media error. :-)

This should have fixed in the latest version, 1.7.0 . It's recommended to redo this title with this version anyway.

Trying MakeMKV 1.7.0:

the following message is repeated a few hundred times:
DEBUG: Code 2281701379 at 9B0vv9Q+.v>JC"*M:213133917

until I "reregistered" with the new temporary key!.... Now I just get the messages like the following:

Using direct disc access mode
Cells 23-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)

It seems to be ripping now, but reporting TEN HOURS remaining to rip a simple DVD. This seems wrong.

During all of this current thrash to rip a DVD I also noticed that makemkvcon continues running even after I have quit MakeMKV. I have to go manually kill several instances of this errant process to get a clean start of makeMKV. This does not seem right to me.
