Ripping DVD gets stuck forever..

I tried ripping this DVD countless times. I tried other DVD titles and they work fine (this particular one does not). It always gets stuck at about a quarter in. Then it fully stops. I also hear a click noise when it reaches this point. But not on other discs. This is a brand new DVD out of the shrink wrap there is no damage or scratches on the DVD. It stops and never updates or continues to read/ rip. I restarted my PC. It does rip the DVD intro/ logo and one commercial. But once it starts to (I assume) is the first episode it stops. This is a anime DVD so its not like a full feature film. There are episodes and extras. I provided a snapshot picture of where it gets stuck along with the log and additional drive info.
I also used a regular DVD player on Windows 11 and even VLC to play this DVD and it plays fine. However, makemkv is unsuccesful. Ideas???
