MakeMKV is not able to process the .iso (mounted using magicIso), but my player (WD TV Live) plays it "ok".

Try just pointing MakeMKV at the ISO.

eg. don't mount it.

Tried that as the first effort.

MagicISO was as a last resort.
Same result though.

EDIT: But as the log indicates, the ISO is pretty fc*ked up... never the less, it plays :D
VLC even has menus and all... Must be some sort of Disney Copy Protection from back in the 1990ies...

Hi!

Since you seem to be aware that the .ISO image file is "less than perfect", just use your original, commercial "Lion King" disc (instead of your old .ISO image file) as your source for MakeMKV...

Good idea, one I would have used if it hadn't been for my 2? yr old girl, and her less than perfect... eh... cleaning of the disc :-(

Just assumed MakeMKV wanted to support as much as possible, and since VLC knows how to handle it, I assumed it was on purpose from Disneys PoV that the .iso is "garbled".

EDIT: But, nvm then, DVDFab knows how to handle it...

Still, please send all IFO files from the disc per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 .
