Spawn 3 Animated Fails Backup (MKV fine)

I can use "makemkv" or "makemkvcon64 mkv" in windows (or linux) to make an MKV of the single title listed. The "Backup" function from both programs fail. There are no problems reading the disk. After scanning the disk with makemkv*, I can use ddrescue (in linux) to make an ISO. It makes a complete disk with no errors after just a single pass. I confirm that I can use the ISO to also make an MKV file.
I have a work around. But reporting in case it is of interest.
