Of course I am just replacing the disk, but like G.I. Joe said, "Knowing Is half the battle."

P.S. please also keep in mind I already watched the movie on a Samsung Blu-ray player attached to my T.V.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

indicates that your drive was unable to correctly read a spot on that disc. The standard advice would be to gently clean the disc and try again, although I assume you've tried that already.

Most DVD and blu-ray players are programmed to blow past any read errors and hope you don't notice the resulting video or audio errors.

I do have a JFJ Pro resurfacing machine and you are correct, no effect after three one-minute cycles. So you gave me confirmation on two things actually.
