Problem w/Space Above and Beyond. Disc 5, side a, title02

So far ripped 200+ DVDs without incident. MakeMKV is superb.
However, Space Above and Beyond, Disc 5, side a, title02 is causing MakeMKV to error.
Disc is Region 1 and my Pioneer BDR-205 is locked to region 2.
(a Region free ISO created by DVDFab also fails to save title02).
Drive is connected to a X48/ICH9R intel chipset with latest drivers.
The other three titles on the disc rip without error, even with R1 disc in R2 drive. The disc is in "as new" condition with no scratches or fingerprints - I cleaned it anyway and gave it another try.
The title plays fine from disc with VLC, in both my dvd and blu-ray player.
DVDFab obviously rips it without error.
Debug log is attached.
