Unable to rip "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Next 100 Episodes " boxset

I bought newer DVD boxset SpongeBob SquarePants: The Next 100 Episodes and I tired my usual first (DVD Decrypter) and that did not work so I tried to use MakeMKV to rip the discs (16 discs) it says something about BUP not matching something or other. It will go very slowly for a while and they slows to a crawl with a "Ripguard" message and eventually will fail with a read error!

What gives? Is there anyway to rip these discs?

My drive is an LG BP50NB10 flashed with Libredrive

Thanks

Okay I tried again using "Cellwalk" and it still failed and the error about the BUP was this
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #0 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #1 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #2 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #3 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #4 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #5 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #8 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #9 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #10 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #12 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #13 does not match one in IFO header.
Is there anyway to rip these discs?

You can try the different DVD opening modes.

I did that already

The final error message was as follows
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 1.02 K0FGA5D5838' at offset '0'
Backup failed

Thats a power error use both USB plugs in the back of the motherboard or buy a high powered USB hub.

I was using the Dell WD15 dock with my Latitude 5590 with that LG drive

Anyway I forgot my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 had a DVD drive (LG GUD1N) that is powered VIA a header on the MB which in turn is powered by the PCs power supply.

I tried the backup and it still failed so I just did the MakeMKV route as I found out the MKV files where just an uncompressed container file and that worked!!

However I don't see why this worked though and the backup part failed?

I got all 16 discs ripped and I am currently using Handbrake to compress the files for my Xbox Series X

Problem solved

Thank You

I've been having the same issue. I have no clue what to do.

I’m a few months late, but Season 6 is authored in a weird way. Many Disney DVDs from 2005-2010 have a 5-second delay before the movie actually starts (something Paramount experimented with around 2009-2010), which can create sync issues depending on how the disc is ripped. As for SpongeBob, the first two discs of Season 6 actually have these delays between certain episodes, making it harder to rip. Ripping each individual episode from their own dedicated titles seems to work better, as it’s easier to work around the delay. Seasons 7, 8, and 9 do not have this issue.
