I have a rip of a rare DVD from Japan from the 90s and when I play it through VLC, for example, it plays the opening logos and then the content (no menu). However when ripping via MakeMKV, it only ever shows the content and not the opening title. I've disabled skipping titles under a specific length, I've tried manual DVD mode but it just shows one title, and I've tried the CellFull reading but it has the same result. Any thoughts?

UPDATE: Another software called DVD Shrink was able to find the missing openings and labelled it as a menu. This is probably why MakeMKV ignored it, but I wish there was a way to force it to read it anyway...

Well in the meantime one can create an iso backup that will decrypt the VOBs, which is what I did.
